Hannah Leigh

So as some of you know Hannah had cyst on her right wrist that was wrapped around her artery back in October and she had to have surgery to have it removed. Well just the other day, we noticed another cyst right above where the other one was. I took her back to the Doctor and he said we are going to watch it for 6 weeks and if it grows, then he will have to go back in and remove this one. There is no reason for why she keeps getting these and the Doctor says it is very uncommon for small children to get them and keep getting them. Everyone please pray that this is not a continious problem and that she does not have to have another surgery. Thank you all.

This year Hannah & I did Race for the Cure with her Meme, Papaw, and some friends! Hannah's Meme is a 5 year breast cancer survivor so it was really awesome to be there in celebration of her! :) It is such a great cause to be walking for and I plan to do it every year now. There were about 42,000 people there for the walk and I have never seen so much pink! Here are a few pics to enjoy.

So today I got a couple emails from one of Hannah's preschool teachers. They were so cute I wanted to share them so here they are below:

" When the kids pick up well, I give them a skittle. Well I’m almost out of skittles, so for 3 weeks I’ve been telling them I’m going to buy M&M’s to give them when they pick up. So first thing Hannah wants to know if I remembered the M&M’s. I haven’t made it to Sam’s yet, so I told her no. 2 hours later out of the blue she tells me that she forgives me. I said “for what”. “Forgetting to buy the M&M’s. I love that girl! "

" Right after I sent your e-mail another student yelled at a little girl which then made her cry. Hannah was sitting by the yeller. She very quietly and sweetly asked her why she did that and told her it wasn’t nice. I just think that shows a lot of character in a little girl that just turn 4. I was so proud of her. I can honestly say I have never heard her yell at another child. She must have great parents. Keep up the good work."

At preschool, Hannah fell face first in the gym. She was playing ring around the rosey and tripped and fell straight onto her nose. I got to the preschool to find her holding a rag up to her bloody nose. I took her to the E.R. to make sure it is not broken and thank goodness it is was not. It is pretty swollen and bruised up though. I hope that goes away soon. She still has a smile on her face though! :)

This is my beautiful little girl named Hannah! My husband and I were blessed to have her 4 years ago on January 30th! That was one of the happiest days of my life! I never knew how much I could love someone until I had her. :) She is so much fun to be around and there is never a dull moment with her. She is very sweet, funny,adorable, and full of attitude! Haha! I decided to start a blog so I could share some of the stories about her.
